“I feel so content at home knowing I have quality, care and support”
Overview of care costs and how it is funded
At some point in our lives most of us will require some level of care and support. For some this may only be a couple of hours care per day, whilst others may have higher needs and may require live- in homecare and support.
In our experience, live-in care costs about the same as spending time in a standard residential care home. However, an average care home has one carer for every five to ten clients. One of the main advantages of live-in care is the personalised one-to-one services. Staying at home also provides you with stability, as moving from your home can be very stressful and unsettling.
As we are a small private, company we can offer a quality, personable service at an extremely cost effective price as we do not have the huge overheads that franchises or large companies have.
Live-in homecare is also very cost effective as you remain in your property. Properties generally increase in value each year meaning the increase could help cover some of the cost of your care.
Our carers will also undertake many household duties for you. This means our clients do not need to rely on additional services such as a cleaner or a shopper.
Care costs and funding options vary on individual circumstances. We have three different price bandings varying from “low care needs” to “high care needs”.
The information below should give some insight into each area of funding you may be entitled to.
For an individual quote please call 020 30169435. Please note VAT is NOT added to any of our care services as VAT is not chargeable to care services in the UK. We charge a small additional fee when caring for a couple which again makes us very competitive compared to the price of two people living in a care or residential home.
