Paramount Live-in Care offers a unique and professional environment for Live- in carers, who are committed to offering a consistently high quality of care and support, including, empathy and kindness.

We only recruit for available and vacant positions. We offer excellent working conditions and an extremely supportive, caring, and professional working environment.

We believe our carer’s are “our company”. We train and nurture our team to ensure high levels of staff wellbeing. We appreciate that a, happy, supported, and positive care team are those who will provide genuine care and support to our clients.

We provide full training as required. Once trained, our care team are awarded “The Care Certificate”, the new essential certification required by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The Care Certificate is recognized nationally. We also offer the opportunity for our care team to enroll onto the Health and Social Care Diploma level 2-5. Employed members of the Care Team, accrue up to five weeks paid holiday entitlement annually.


Yes, we have two options for Live -in Carers. You can be employed directly by Paramount Live-in Care, which means you will receive your salary from us. Our accounts department are responsible for allowing HM revenue to automatically deduct any tax and national insurance contributions owed each month.

Alternatively, you can work on a self–employed basis. If this is your preference, we will introduce you to a client based on your experience and location. Once engaged, the client will then pay your fees directly on a monthly or bi-weekly basis. You would be responsible for paying your own tax and national insurance contributions. We will ask you to provide us with a Unique Tax Reference number to prove you declare your income to HMRC (you can obtain this easily and we can assist with you this)


Both our Introduction Service and our Managed Service allow flexibility for our care team to choose their working patterns. Generally, we would look for people who would like to work two weeks on then have two weeks off. This would be on an ongoing rotation with the same client generally on a long- term basis. Some people prefer to work much longer assignments for three - six months or maybe longer. Please talk to us to discuss your preferred rotation. We have many ongoing assignments available.


All carer’s that work with Paramount Live-in Care will be required to have a new or up to date DBS disclosure. We would usually do this for you. However, if you have subscribed to the online DBS update service you will not need a new DBS check.

DBS checks are done online and are generally completed within five working days. If you have a VISA which gives you permission to work in the UK we will require full evidence of this.


We only offer our services to clients in the south east of England, you can choose a preferred area but generally it could be anywhere in the south- east region.
